Mud Volleyball

The 23rd annual Mud Volleyball tournament will go on again this year at Heritage Park in Taylor, MI.

Taylor, like many other cities, has been facing budget cuts that threatened to end the annual event. With last years budget cuts, Taylor was forced to end the annual summer festival held over a three day weekend in July. The festival included carnival rides, fireworks and musical guests. In the past, patrons were treated to appearances by Eddie Money and REO Speedwagon for free. With the festival gone last year, the mud volleyball tournament still went on. Nobody was certain if it would continue this year until it was approved.
